Just got home from Lake Perris and had a great morning bite. I got eight nice copper nose on my home made under spin on 2lb. Izor smoke line. So far I really like the Izor line, it handles real well on the spool and cast a mile. I looked for LedHed but didn't see you this morning. I am always amazed at the power of these gills!!!![]()
Here is my 1/32oz. under spin that I make. Not sure if it is cool to call it what it looks like....lol!
It doesn't say on the spool, I just looked. It is much thinner than the Ande line I was using.
Here is the cut were the big copper nose live. It is about 8ft. at the deepest and averages about 5ft. They live just on the edge of the brush line.

Been getting a few fish with this fungus on them, not sure what it is but it doesn't keep them from running drag.

This is were the cut dead ends. I got an 8lb. bass out of there early in the season but it's big copper nose territory now.
