I got them from "work" (I work in a Hospital)

I'm sure one can get them from a medical supply store, Veterinarian, or on-line ... and possibly even at a pet store. You just want to be sure and get one for "ORAL" use ... and not for injection use. ...... cp

I bought one and just got it today. I was surprised and the quality and craftsmanship in it. Says made in the USA and if everything in the USA was made like this, we would not be losing things to foreign countries. I think the only way you would ever have to replace it is if you loose it. Solid construction and works great to inject tubes. No forcing it, just turn the nob.

Default Thanks For trying the Oral Syringe

Thanks for seeing if that would work. I am looking forward to see if the second part of the expirement will work with the silver glitter.

So would you recommend this as a cheaper way or would you rather spend the $15 dollars for the Bait Pump. I am not knocking the bait pump I was just thinking that this would be cheaper and you could put two or three of the oral syringes in the boat for a lot cheaper than a bait pump.

I'll be conducting that Phase 2 experiment, later on this week.

I'm not "recommending" anything ... just reporting my findings. I was as skeptical as the next guy, about it even working. I had the materials necessary, to give it a go, and put the debate to rest ... so I did.

As I've said before ... I don't own a Bait Pump, and I'm not making comparisons to one. These experiments are simply to show that it is, or is not, feasible to use a oral medication syringe to extrude Crappie Nibbles into a hollow tube jig body. The lifespan of the syringe, as in durability - will it dry out and become brittle - how long it will continue to work/last - etc ... is not being taken into consideration.

    .......cp
