Thread: Hand made baits.

Love gills, crackers and such. Love making my own baits, wonder do you guys find time to tinker with anything? I love fly rods as well as ultra lights, micros too. I can tie flies, just not great. Been on line looking at hybrid, flies with soft plastics and with the invention of clear goo...some realistic micro baits, grass shrimp and aquatic insects . Got my juices flowing to try to make some. Will you share some of your baits? Please thanks LB

I cut apart some sabiki rigs and tied a very small swivel on the end of the mono and added a split shot.
Havent tried them yet but they could fool me at least for a grass shrimp.
I'm hoping they work in lieu of using bait.
