    I just completed a 5' spincast rod for a local pond owner. Here's a photo of the handle:

    Looks beautiful , what material did u use?
    Just curious was this a gift to let you fish his ponds or you already fish them and this is a thank you gift..
    I am sure he will love it.

    Thanks for the compliments, guys! Txfly, the materials are green-dyed burl cork, green-dyed stabilized big leaf maple burl wood, and AAAA-grade cork. The man I made it for owns the ponds I guide on for trophy bluegill.
