    I took this yesterday with my Gopro - bluegill feeding on the surface, no giants but I think it turned out okay:

    I had to slow all the footage down to 50% speed because they moved so fast - kind of like the thing about not being able to see Bruce Lee when he punched someone full-speed...

    That video came out pretty good. Do those hand fed bluegill taste the same as normal ones?

    I don't eat the bigger ones, Illinoisgiller; generally I don't take any out of this pond or my best pond because they have gotten to a point where the predators keep the numbers in check. But bluegill that I eat out of other ponds I feed, seem to taste the same to me. I've never noticed a difference, other than the fillets of course tend to be a good bit bigger than those from the average non-fed water.
