Of those 2, I prefer a 1/32 inside tube jighead with a brown/orange or watermelon seed/red glitter tube injected full of crappie nibbles.

Jigs between 1/32 oz and 1/80 oz. Use 1/64 oz most of the time.

YES - LOL. Have a couple favorites in both that I like. Little 1" tubes can be killers, as can tiny hair jigs. Even have a killer 1.5" curlytail they eat like candy around here. I use heavier heads when I can get away with it, like 1/24-oz. but will drop down smaller as needed. Really lightweight jigs under a tiny pencil float can be murder this time of year in 12"-24" of water.

I like the smallest jigs I have. Tubes being a little bigger don't work as well for me.

Ice fishing jigs, 1/64oz and lighter with some of the plastics that are aimed at the ice fishing community. Small and lifelike movement under the ice, even more lively with warm water.

Like team9 mentioned, the 1.5 curly tail grub is my favorite- I've taken to using a modified Carolina rig with mine. A bullet weight about a foot above the curly tail on a simple hook (no jighead). Slow retrieve and it sort of "bumps and jumps" off the bottom. They can't stand it.
