Question Question For you Brimm Pro's

Hello guys and Gals[ Ladies] I have a question for you if you don't mind. I fish a small pond on the Hunter AAF base here in Savannah. In the spring, summer and early fall I can catch nice brimm there but as soon as it gets cold I can't catch a single one. So where do they go? Do they retreat to deep water and hold to structure? I have tried all kinds of live bait and lures. Thanks for your replies in advance. Jimmy S.
