Default Must have book for bait fishermen

The best book I have ever seen on bait is called "Fishing With Live Bait". It is put out by the Hunting and Fishing Library and I do not know how to get it new. I bought mine used from Abes Books. This book tell you about almost every know bait in North America from how to use it to how to catch and raise your own. Fantastic information and first class pictures. Best book on the subject that has come along. Highly recommend

Thanks for the tip. People get caught up in the latest and greatest artificial baits and forget how well the real thing works. :D

I seldom use real bait even for Bream, but Catfishing is a different thing. You would be suprized how may Catfish I catch a year as by catch with jigs.

We have all been down this road before. When the fad had worn off we come back to the old tried a true. Look bait fishing is so good it is outlawed in some part in a lot of states. I believe that Yellowstone Park is strictly artificial.

Hey, I have that book. it's great, has color illustations, tells how to catch your bait for free, hooking instructions, and storing live bait.
