I use them more often for trout than panfish. I bought one in 1/12 oz. for panfish and ended up catching a few small bass. I use the plain chrome ones. I would use the chrome/blue for trout.
One of my favorite lures for panfish. What is your favorite size and color?Mine is the 1/8 oz. size with a chrome and blue stripe. It will catch any fish in any lake here in Arizona. What's yours?

Panfishing is fun!
Yeah I use mine more for trout fishing than panfishing but I've never given them a fair shot at the panfish.

i catch nice crappie on the green and chrome myself. i cast it out and count to 4 and reel the trout will tear it up.
This lake here by the house is full of gills and yellow bass.It seems that every winter the go under the boats that are slipped at the marina. We just use the trolling motor and jig kastmasters between them all,go to the bottom and jerk away, all day.lol.What a blast, always at least 50 fish.

I have started to use them down here in So. Cal no luck yet but I have buddies that hook the gills and slabs jigging in deeper water. Most of them like the chrome with blue or green.
Slabber, have you given the microspoons a try there? They're killers up here in PA.
chaunc, nobody here in Arizona really uses micro spoons, and only from Dec. to March are the fish really deep, you know water temps in the 50's is very cold for here..lol.I'm going to get some though,I am Pa. bound in the spring, got to change my ways.Thanks.

Caught a few gills(small) through the ice today on a 1/12 oz gold tipped with a couple maggots. You never know what you'll catch on them through the ice.I catch perch, gills crappies, bass, walleyes and trout through the ice.
