    Default 3rd of July bluegill

Caught 7 bulls similar to these on July 3rd on nightcrawlers under a tree in my girlfriend's parent's pond. They sure put a nice bend in my 11' jig pole. I hope the pictures do the fish some justice... Didn't measure them but I have a big hand.

That's my girlfriend's 13-year-old cousin in the background. We had a good time catching bluegill and throwing the frisbee. He will be one of us.

    Default Greenies

Those are either Green sunfish or Hybrids. Both are a blast to catch. They actually fight a little harder than gills.
Good you were able to slip down there . ole giller

My favorite fish to catch, other than crappie, are pumpkinseeds they hit it and stop then swim the other way from you, they put up a great fight, especially on that ultralight
