one of the pits off of blue creek has a public access point. There is a parking area and a path down to the water. If you have a little bass buggy that you and a buddy can carry you can put it in and go all the way to the north end of that pit and cross over a dam and go into a second pit as well. I fished both of them years ago you used to be able to get into both of them from the lake

a buddy of mine was asking me if it was possible to get a flat bottom boat up the bank of blue creek and into the pitts. The first thing that crossed my mind was wheather or not they were public or not. So, the next question is, is it possible to drag or manuver a flat bottom boat from the creek to the pitt?

If the lake is up yes but ive gone twice this yr with not much success. But there in there somewhere, but the bass boats can get in there 2 now so you got a little competion.

Blue Creek is a park area on the east side of Oologah. Google earth Blue Creek, look on the south end and you'll see two areas you can access two strip pits.
