Default Front trailer wheel? & Oologah

Well I borrowed a buddies boat on Friday and tried my luck at Talala creek at Oologah. Fished from about 4:30 til dark and fishing was real slow but out of the 4 we caught two of them were 14 1/2 inchers! Caught them both at 7-8 ft deep. Tried jigs and minnows with all 4 being caught on minnows.

The bad news is that somehow the front trailer wheel on my buddies boat busted. It's that little plastic looking tiny wheel that raises and lowers when hitching the trailer up. Does anyone know where I can get a new one at? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most Wal-marts handles the whole jack for around $30.

Wal-mart?..Awesome!!! Do I just go to the automotive dept. and they do it all for me or do I just buy the wheel in the back by the sports dept.?

I think wal-mart just sells the jack with the wheel already mounted on it. Just have to change the whole jack out. Probably have to go the the Harbor freight to just get the wheel by itself. Hope this helps. The jack is found in the sporting goods department by the boating goods.

Where were you fishing at? I was there till past dark, but was not fishing the creek area itself.

Thanks guys. I actually found a wheel at Atwoods that came attached to the metal hinge thing but wasn't the whole jack for $15. I just took it off the metal deal it was on and put it on and it works perfect! I was lucky they had it because I don't know if I could have replaced the entire jack with the way the current jack is set up (too hard to explain )

Reaper...this was the first time I've ever fished Talala so forgive me if my explanation isn't real good. We put in at the Vada Ramp. The first crappie we got was directly southwest of the ramp kind of in the middle of the creek. We were probably 200 yards from the south bank. The second good crappie we caught was on the opposite side (north bank probably due south of where we parked the truck/trailer so not too far from the ramp). There is a fairly decent sized brushpile right on the bank in about 15 ft. of water and I caught him fishing 8 ft. deep slip corkin with a minnow.

Try any decent marine supply place. or you may have to replace the whole unit.
