    Question Thunderbird

I just moved to the South OKC/Norman area and hopefully will have time to fish Thunderbird. Does anyone know of a good guide on Thunderbird? Are there many public shore spots to fish from? any info would be good. Thanks

I don't know of a guide who specializes in t-bird, but I know several locals who would be glad to show you around. I'll resist the urge to throw a couple of them under the bus by name, but I'm sure they'll be chiming in soon. If they don't, I'll show you around, but I'm boatless, so we'd just be perusing the bank fishing spots.

On that note, there is not an incredible amount of good bank fishing at t-bird. Many of the places where you can get to the water are not deep enough to fish most of the year. That said, twin bridges, Fisherman's Point, around the marina (can't go on it without renting a boat slip year-round), and "zoom beach" (which is just West of Hog Creek boat ramp), are decent areas to fish from shore at varying times of the year. Like most bank fishing areas around t-bird, you're usually better off wearing waders so you can get out closer to a decent depth.
Jeremiah 16:16a "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the Lord, "and they will catch them."
