We’re working on 4”” south of the dam.
Does this to us just about every year. The COE isn’t even releasing much water to try and keep ahead of the inflow.
Different day same old story. Already got over 3 inches of rain last night and this morning on the lake and upstream with a lot more on the way. They are predicting 5 to 6 inches up here before it's over. Here we go again. It was fun while it lasted.

What's the lake look like now Tim?
Lake is 6 1/2 ft high and rising. Still 30,000 cf of inflow. No gates open. If the COE doesn't open the gates soon we are in trouble. Lake came up over 2 ft last night.

I saw they have huge floods on the upper Mississippi River drainage, so with the need to get water down river quickly, I don’t see them opening the gates on any of the Arkansas River system soon, and when they do, Kaw will be the last to get drained.
Projected crest is around 1020.00 is what they are saying or 10 ft above normal pool. We are over 1017.00 now with 30,000 cf still coming in with only 5000 cf going out. Be careful north of Sarge. A lot of big debris. Coon ramp will close by tomorrow.

11 foot high today. Coon ramp is closed. Docks at sarge and washunga closed but ramps still open as of today. Inflow has dropped below 15,000 with 5,400 going out. All gates at Kaw and Kesystone still closed. Only releasing out of sluice gate at Kaw. Have to see how much rain we get this week.

Starting to get real serious around here. Lake is 31 1/2 f above normal and still rising fast with 125,000 cf of inflow. All campgrounds and ramps are closed.

That's not great news thanks for the update.
TimY, what is the highest you have seen the lake get?
