**BOATS NEEDED** 2016 Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp
It's that time of year again guys where we ask for your help in providing some lifetime memories to some kids and young adults. The Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp is in need of volunteers to bring out their boats and spend a half of a day fishing with a counselor and some campers on Aug 13th at Lake Hudson. These campers have all suffered burns or other severe injuries and they look forward to this day more than any other day of the camp. As of right now there is 9 boaters signed up. We would like to get 25 to 30 atleast. We have had great support from OK C.C members and I hope to continue that support this year. Life jackets and poles are provided. Not sure yet Josh if I will have a boat or not. Either way I will again make this event and would not miss it. My son David has already taken time off wanting to again be involved in the burn camp. Call when you know what's needed so I can get to work on it.......Ranger

I was glad to participate two years ago. It's a great event. But, last year and this year it falls right in the middle of my "get out of Oklahoma heat and go to the mountains" vacation which has been planned for months.

if you are thinking of helping with fishing event at this years Burn camp, we really need you to get your app in. Its a very simple app, just a few things to fill out that gives an idea how many your boat can hold and some contact info. We are currently 10-12 boats short. Even if we can get 5 or 6 more boats in at a minimum we can make this a great time for all the campers.

I've got a command attendance in Florida with 13 grandkids etc. that I wouldn't mind ducking if it weren't for my marriage but I'm gonna see if Zeke will bring my boat or his. I really hate missing this event.
