Do they taste like crappie?
I was at Sooner two weeks ago and caught two that would weigh over 15 lbs each.

Seems I catch them things all the time! They can fight, haven't tried eating them though.

If you have eaten LMB or sand bass then you know what drum taste like. Bone structure is similar to a lmb. If I fed you carp patties with hushpuppies and slaw you would be raving about all 3, not knowing what you were REALLY eating. That's another story..................
I see he's really "drumming" them up.

You guys really gotta pay better attention. Sure Ledge could have posted another repetitive set of pictures of all our big slabs but he chose to go the artsy route and the clue is in the thread title. Now which of his c.c idols is that handsome devil honoring with that classic pose?

Reaper your killin me man! Ledge, I am a typical guy subtle just doens't work, a 2# hammer to the head does. Glad someone pointed the clues out to me or I would have never gotten it!
Good eye Mark. Gotta admit I was a little concerned with the copyright laws on that grip so thanks for the free pass. Those two grinders were the only fish with scales we caught that day. Highlight was when Captain Ledge ate a little bitty candied jalapeņo slice and then spent the next two hours draining all our snacks and whining like he had swallowed a scorpion. I went right home and fed the rest of the bottle to my granddaughters and put the juice in my grandsons sippycup. They enjoyed em so much we had to open another jar. I am thinking maybe Ledge should start with maybe Spearmint gum and then hopefully work his way up to radishes. Never a dull moment with that boy.
