If a person was wanting to take a little break from crappie fishing is there any walleye in Kaw? If so where would be the best places to try?......Thanks

I have caught them all over the lake. I have caught them at Washunga around the bridge pillars and between sarge bridge and pioneer cove. I was fishing with a spoon around the washunga area and pulling cranks down south. I hear they catch a lot towards the dam on the humps, and below the dam when they are running water.

I caught one on tournament day. It was the only time it pissed me off catching one, I thought it was the 2 lb crappie we needed. EB

I have caught several out of Kaw. We have our best luck below the dam, when the water is running good.
