    Default Arcadia Lake fishing report


    I have recently moved to the Edmond area and have been doing some scouting for fishing spots on Arcadia Lake. I have fished the docks the past couple of days trying to get a feel for the lake but was wondering if anyone could give me some insight to what areas to try. I saw a marker for a brush pile near the fishing dock and was wondering if there are other one that are on the lake too. I have a small jon boat and can get around the lake a little but it will take a while to go from one of end of the lake to the other. Thanks for any help.

    Hey Newt, I too live in Edmond. There are other brush piles, some marked some not. And then of course a bunch of standing timber to the south. The first cove SE of dam (if my direction is right) has at least one good size brush pile in it and close by spawning flats. Good luck!

    Well I went out Thursday and got skunked. However I did see that OWD has built some newer looking brush piles and found a couple of potential spots.

    went to arcadia today brought home 7 crappie from 10in to 15in caught on BG baby shad chartreuse body with pink/white jig head

    i went yesterday fished enclosed dock i had some hits but wasnt fast enough to get them out before they wrapped me up in the brush pile . I did get three nice ones given to me from the older gentlemen there catching them

    Any recent updates on the crappie bite? I am hoping to go Sunday. Any suggestions on were to fish. I have a boat so can reach all areas. Thanks for your respones.
