    Default Next years winter boat

I'm taking on a new project with my Christmas present to myself. This is an 18' Lone Star El Dorado. She's rough as a cob and not much left to strip down before I start the rebuild.

Look out Oologah and your 4' puny waves! I ain't skeered! I'm not sure what all I'm going to do with her right now and might have to just fish out of the back of the boat. That front hatch could give access to a couple of seats up front top side. The 80hp Merc is supposed to be good, but I've been hording a 90hp Yamaha along with all it's gauges, wiring and an 18 gallon aluminum tank that might end up on her. She'll take up to 100hp motor and has a 2,264 lb capacity with motor, gear and people.

I'm still in the middle of fitting my Harley with a batwing fairing, then a fresh paint job on everything, so it will be awhile before I start in on the new boat.

    I just thinks she's cool!

That is way too awesome ! It's a great find and a wonderful project. If you need any "woodworker" help, I'm your guy. I'm way excited for you.

That would make a heck of a boat to longline or pull cranks out of with a small troller on the transom. I'd like to see a pic of your bike project.

Cool project Craig, can't wait to watch your renovation. Looks like you don't have a shortage of toys to play with. Gonna have to keep an eye on you in that boat, I bet she throws off a pretty good wake.
