Crappie.com has introduced most all of us to each other and we've been able to develop very good friendships because of this. I would have never met Doug other than cursing him for throwing me off anchor when he buzzes by. He's a great guy and am blessed to know him. I can't remember if I introduced Whisperer to the forum or not, but had the pleasure of meeting him on the water. Another great guy! Anyone who lives away from Oologah, I would not know but have made some good friendships through C.C. I'll meet members on the water while fishing, like Crappie Hog and Meat Dragger. Two more great guys! Boss Hog drives out of his way to deliver cinder blocks for the brush drop, never met him before, but another great guy!

Eufaula is a long way from my place and I rarely go down there, but am glad I did for the meetings that were put on by Crappie.com members.

Rules for the tourney were posted prior to them taking place. Classic at Eufaula by one vote is pretty close. I expect that the friendships and members of Crappie.com will only get bigger in time.

I might suggest that the next series might consider participation in one tournament would qualify for the Classic. It could make for a bigger field. Perhaps starting this series at Eufaula for the Classic and making the rounds of the other lakes in the future for the Classic.

Bottom line is that no one involved is making any money and Ranger09 (Mark) has invested his personal time and money to drive down to secure the building for the fish fry and hoping to recoup some of his money by taking donations at the fry. I don't think any of the organizers have won any of the tourneys, yet have spent their time organizing the events. Even though I couldn't make any of the tourneys, I'd like to thank them for their work. There's a certain amount of cost involved in fishing period, the tourneys if interested are simply a get together of friends haveing fun. No whiners allowed!

That's what are goal was in the tournament trail! All though the meetings were great once a year wasn't enough! So we made it where we could all get together and fish! It's about the elusive crappie and making friends! I have had the pleasure over the last few years to meet some great guys through guiding and this site! I have more fishing buddies now than ever! Lol

Reaper, I know we are wanting to maybe start the tourneys in the fall and go through June of next year! 1. Maybe a draw tourny? 2. One poke artifial only challenge? 3. Then maybe a new lake or two? Idk can't wait to hear the input! EB

I'll most likely be watching from the outside, my pockets aren't deep enough to fish the tourneys.

Yes the check in site is the Sr Citzens Bld in Crowder America. You will find the directions under the sign up forum for the classic but I will post it here also...Its across from the Post Office in Crowder America..downtown.. Its on the east side of the road and its a white metal bldg with red trim. It should be easy to find with all the Trucks and Boats there early in the morning....Ranger

If your fishing Saturday be careful. The lake is 3 ft low and there's some dangerous stuff out there under the water! The fishing has been hit and miss! I've had sine days where I loaded up on them in 3 hrs and other days you had to fish for them all day to get 20! I figure if you can catch a 9lb sack you will be doing really good! EB

We as you know are having the Classic Tomorrow on Eufaula and at the fish fry we are going to discuss the up coming year and tournament schudule. It is my belief that our trail will start off in either October or November this year and run 1 tournament each month until May or June next year. No more extremely hot weather tournaments, as the temps heated up the interest kinda dwindled some and I cant blame anyone for that. We will discuss adding new lakes and new challenages for this upcoming season. Such as a 1 pole 1 jig challenage for a tournament. Maybe a draw for partner tourney or a draw for lake tournament. The options are endless and without your input and concerns we cant even come close to making this the best ran fun filled tournaments for the entire family of our Oklahoma Crappie.Com brothers and sisters. So please guys if your interested in this in anyway come and let your voices be heard tomorrow at the fish fry and weigh in at Crowder America. I myself want to have a fun day set aside for our kids, to take them out on the lake with their dad or mother and cater to them for aday on the water. Let them enjoy our passion. I honestly believe we can get a company like Zebco and Crappie Pro to help us on this adventure. We just need your help and for us to all come together..My Thoughts.. We will also be needing new fisherman to help in putting on a tournament on your lake. Its been alot of work for just a very few so please if your interested in assisting and promoting our passion we need you..lol...Good Fishin.....Ranger
