    Default Look Out T-Bird, I am back!


    It has been almost a year of no fishing for me. I experienced some health problems but things are great now. My son helped me pick up my boat from the slip to clean. First off, the trailer tires where flat. They were 7 years old and one had a huge bump when inflated so new tires were put on the trailer. Live well pump was locked up so a new cartridge was installed but every thing else worked after being neglected so long. The boat is now back in the slip and ready to fish. I will be terrorizing the crappie population at T-bird tomorrow or Tuesday and then on a daily basis.

    If you see me at the lake (pontoon boat with 32 Bee Ready Rod holders around the rails) give me a shout. I will keep you posted on the bite!

    Louis,
    on the crappie, I fished the west bank coves from hog creek boat ramp north and was skunked with jigs. hope this helps; and what slip and marina are you in? I'm gonna be watching for you posts as well; eliminating unproductive water is sure nice.

    I am slipped at the Little River Marina, dock nearest the shore. I plan on getting out tomorrow just to let the crappie know I am back

    Didn't you follow me into the marina this weekend? I was going really slow watching the bottom and asked if you wanted to pass me.

    I planned on fishing today but looks as if the weather is not allowing fishing. I don't mind the rain but hate being on the lake with lightening going on around me.

    Yeah, my boat was filthy! It is cleaner now and I will try to fish a little tomorrow. The plan was to fish today but the weather changed my mind.
