Nabatak is the name of the tackle store. It is located on hwy 20 across from the turnpike gate and a little west. They have all the bait and fishing supplies you need.

That's the one!
Nabatak sells minnows they are right across from turnpike entrance on 20 heading east. I have done okay at the dock. Usually catch a lot of smalls there. Went yesterday and bite was excruciatingly slow and according to some of the local fisherman has been for a bit now. I ended up with 3 keepers. Costs 3 bucks to fish dock 2 bucks if you have Claremore utilitys. Seems like the corners are where I have caught my keepers and it changes just about every time as far as which one is the hot spot. But like I said been real slow of late.
Thanks! I've only been there the one time in October with plans to go more regularly, but, well, it's February.
It was slow when I was there last, but with no boat, I'm limited some, and with the temps the way they've been, heated docks it is!
If you're headed to Nabatak take more money than you think you'll need. You're gonna find something you can't live without it can't be helped they carry too much. If they would carry crazy angler products it would be a true one stop shop.

I fished the dock last Saturday. Horribly slow bite. Caught a few smalls.
There is a low water bridge on the northeast part of the lake. There are alot of rocks in this area and I have caught and seen many people catch crappie all along this area....
Smoky, what time of the year were you catching fish in this area? How deep and technique?
Nabatak is the bait shop in Claremore... They are located just west of the turnpike gate on Hwy 20 on the north side of the road about 2 blocks....
Usually about mid april is when i start catching them in this area... I use either Rosies or jigs... there are several brush piles on north of there up in the trees...
