Choteau Creek is good for Crappie located in the deeper brush piles within the creek.

The best bass fishing is located out in the grand river part of the lake fishing the brush piles with texas rigged stuff and Jigs. Dont let the current deter you, they seem to bite better when the river is flowing.

You can put out at Mazie Landing and access both of these locations. Choteau Bend is another great location to put out at.

Basically, the river end of the lake is the best IMO.

Tell him to try fishing the Jane Dennis Creek or Clear Creek across from Whitehorn Cove. Both have standing timber, the water is stumpy so be careful . Should be able to catch alot of 2lb. plus crappie around the tember at about 14 to 16 fow, using jigs or minnows. If jigs black/char. or grug type jig. Find the Termocline and the fish will be there. In that area it should be about 14 to 18 fow. Good Luck.:D:D
