I haven't heard anything on Thunderbird access after yesterdays storms. Has anyone heard if they are limiting or even closed it while they deal with the marina? Also, would the storm have stirred the crappie/fish up and affected them? I fished it last Thursday and did fairly well and was looking forward to going back tomorrow or Thurs. and checking it out.

For those interested, I found this in the Norman Transcript:

State park officials closed Lake Thunderbird on Tuesday until debris can be removed from the water. Pop cans, cracker boxes and ice coolers were scattered around the lake.

Yeah Boat I heard on the news the entire lake was closed yesterday, but I haven't heard if it will be open today or this weekend. You could probably call down to Denver Corner and find out.

No answer trying to call. This is posted on the State Parks website:

**IMPORTANT NOTICE** Because of recent severe weather damage, Lake Thunderbird State Park is closed until at least May 13, 2010. Park condition updates will be posted as soon as more information is available
