does anything else need to be in the pic besides a fish on a scale? I know some contests in the past have required a playing card or penny included in the pic to be sure it is a current pic. Just curious. I am excited? Is it going to be a rod of our choice:D lol:D?

Well if slab tastic or the apprentice perform like they did this weekened, I don't think anyone has to worry about either one of them getting a new rod.
I got this in the bag!
How about we have a local newspaper in the pic with the scale to prove when the pic was taken. Just an idea to keep everyone honest, not that any of these fisherman would lie or anything. LOL
I'll go with the honor system on the not stretchin the fish. But you must have proof of weight and length. Just like in Tourney's 1/10th. of an ounce can decide it. And yes, there will be a news or media article on the winner.

Might want to toss in that the winner must have already been a C.C member at the start of the Contest Date. Kinda tough to keep someone from pulling out an old picture. Might also request a date been able to be seen in the picture to help prove it's a recent picture.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
That's what I was getting at CR when I mentioned putting a newspaper with the current date in the pic with your fish. What would keep someone from having a pic of a big fish caught years ago hanging on a digital scale just like the rules state it needs to be although the fish would not have been caught this month. We need to have some way to prove the pic is a current pic.
I know this wont work for all, but what about hanging the fish in front of your computer with Crappie.com in the background with the date?

It could be just something random that no one would have either taken a picture with like maybe a Popsicle stick with crappie.com written on it or holding a sock something crazy like that, but its LP decision if he is doing the honor system I think we can all respect that. Plus I think the guys of C.com are pretty stand up guys.
