    It is 5 degs above right now outside. I am certain that I will man up and just sit inside and clean my gear. By the time I am done it oughta be Spring.

    Don't put that gear up now. Best fishing of the year getting ready to start. It was -2 at Kaw this morning.

    I am just puttin the tackle up until this front is out of here. I know its the best time to fish boys. One of my boats is in the shop to replace the water pump impeller and should be out on Wednesday. Gonna try for trout at Watonga for a day, catfishing at Arcadia for a day or 2, then head to Kaw. Hope to squeeze these trips in before the end of the year.

    So, I'm sitting in the blind after a 3/4 mile ride on an ATC, then a 1/4 mile walk on foot to the blind in sub freezing temps.
    I get this from the wife sitting in her recliner out the front window.
