Thank you! I launched out of brush hill and after putting the boat up and taking the wife to get some Mexican food I went back down to the blast ramp and threw out a jig 5 times. Caught 2 right at dark. Guys they turned on late. Threw em back.
Oh and welcome John. I just noticed that this was your first post.

I'd love to believe this is the week, but it looks like there's a solid chance of storm like 3 or 4 days coming up, so it might be a struggle getting out there. I'm definitely ready to fill my freezer anytime now. LOL

Fished north end of lake today, cleaned some really nice fish including one that we weighed at docks that tipped scales at 2lbs 11ozs. Still fishing deep water, she was short 15" and really fat
Hey MudBuddy a friend and I fished Blocker bridge all day and I saw two boats with the mud motors so Im sure we seen ya!
We where in a rd and silver Ranger trolling back and fort we cleaned 17 nice fish and threw bck several but he bite was very slow.
I fished Mill creek Friday. It was slow. We had 9 fish. First two fish were 1.7 and 1.52. They were in 6fow fishing 2 feet. We caught 3 males on the bank. I think they were just bored of swimming around with the big girls.
Since we didn't have any luck on Friday when the barometer was rising, we thought we'd try Saturday when the moon was "beneath our feet". According to the weather app, this was going to be around 1:30 with the major time being 11:30 - 2:30. So we got to the dock around 11:30 and by noon we had our first catch on minnows around 8-9' in 20 FOW. Caught a couple of decent ones but my buddy landed two around the 1.5lb range. Then by 2:30 somebody flipped the switch and not another bite. So after my less than scientific test, I think I'll stick to the weather forecast of when the moon is "beneath our feet" since we didn't even get a bite Friday night when the barometer was on the rise.
Here's my buddy with one of his nice fish.
I guess the worst part of the entire weekend was when we got to our lake place Friday night only to find the breaker on the electric pole that feeds my add-on front porch had tripped. So we lost 6 bags of fish filets -- going to have to spend a few days trying to replace all of them.![]()

Ya I believe I saw you my boat was the load one my dang baffle fell off last weekend and I haven't messed with getting another one yet . Are fish was hard fought to I hope the wind is gone by next week. Anybody got any ideals were I could try my mud boat out where most fishing boats don't want to go. Gotta be some monsters hiding in there somewhere
Mudbuddy.....Gaines creek.....Fame creek....both of those have some of those rough areas
