EB if that was you in that white boat slow trolling...that was me in the camouflage boat. We ended up with 14 nice fish, and lost 4-5 keepers.
    Was that a bite?

Fished the south end today starting in the Crowder area and then south. Crappie started off on fire in 10' to 12' and on any wood you could find. Cloudy overcast early with NW breezes. Water temp was 48.7 and the water was alil stained but got cleared towards open water. Ended up with 21 very nice crappie with the biggest at 14 1/4" and all well over 10". Had a few that would of measured 10" if I had wanted to get my board out but it was about looking today. Was very surprised to find the fish on shallow wood. As soon as the wind turned out of the south and the sun came out it was over. Caught only 2 keeper crappie after 11:30am but several dinks. Caught most crappie today on 2 baits, 2" YUM Beavertails and Bobby Garlands in the Cajun Cricket color seemed to be the ticket today. Fished several different colors but those were by far the best.

Tomorrow its Tenkiller wit strong SE winds predicted...Ranger

It's picking up around my place too...... getting excited that the spring pattern is just around the corner.

Kept 29 yesterday, north end. Water was about 46º F. Spider rigged minnows, mostly on brush around 13-15 fow, fish 10-11' deep. Fished from around 1100 to 1430. Fish bit really good early, then slowed down to a steady one here, one there. Caught quite a few dinks as well, but most of the keepers were pretty nice fish.

    Two of the larger ones.

Nice slabs Winger, they sure look like their bellies were full. Sounds like the bite is getting better on the big E. My dad brought home 27 on Friday too. He said he had some big ones.

The fish are biting really good! I had my limit from 12:30-5:00 yesterday. The key on the lake right now is finding some good water color. If you have 4-6 inch vis it should be good. Anything muddier is tougher! Had 20 keepers today the wind made it tough on us! EB
