For anyone that makes any spoons, if you use vinyl paint the lures will have to be packaged individually otherwise the lures will stick to each other.

Good thing you posted about the vinyl. It probably saved me from sticky lures.

I have used rustoleum oil based white paint on my spoons and have no issues with sticking.

Thanks. I guess I use the vinyl paint because that's how Ron Ludwig taught me. I have poured and painted literally thousands of 2 oz Prune Picker slab spoons with him. I do have to package them individually but I have some on the shelf that are 13 years old and they look like I made them yesterday. I may need to try some Rustoleum paint and see how it works. Does it come in chartreuse ? I need to make some 1/2 oz spoons and could see how well it works. Do you use spray can rustoleum or liquid?

Came to the Ft Worth Gun Show. Lots to look at. Got a good deal on 10mm bullets.

CW - I use the liquid and apply it with a small paint brush that is used to paint models. I am going to go to Home Depot shortly and see if they have chartreuse. I have just 2 1/4 oz spoons left that are identical to yours that were given to me. I paint mine white, add sparkle, a stick on eye, a black dot near the hook, and a streak of red sometimes. Please shoot me a pm with your cell#.

Home Depot has Rustoleum in a Flo Yellow. I have not had time to try it yet.
