I hang the spoons on a mini saw horse for painting. I will dip the spoons in white vinyl paint 2 times before spray painting one side chartreuse.
Temperature has had to be above 65 to paint and painting needs to be done in a well ventilated location.

I put the third and final coat of white on this morning and applied the glitter to the wet paint. The glitter seems a very minor detail but it make a difference. I think they mimic loose scales to the crappie but then again I can't read a fishes mind I just know they bite better with glitter on the spoon. After the white vinyl paint dries I will place the spoons on wax paper with the best side down before spray painting the chartreuse. Below is the progress so far for the first 100. I am making 200.
Someone tell me why my pics keep rotating 90 degrees please.

Applied the first coat of charteuse. I will add glitter to this side after the second coat.
Two coats of clear now applied. Now I let it dry completely then start trimming the paint off the exposed ends before putting the terminal tackle on.

Where on Texoma do you live?
Between Lakeside and Newberry creek
Ok, I have a friend that lives at Buncombe Creek that I visit periodically. You pour and make some nice spoons.

Thank you. At times the crappie are pretty good on the docks there.
