Just a short trip today. We fished up fouche maline and caught lots of green carp early. Finally found some crappie in the tree tops close in against the bank in 4 FOW. No great big crappie but good eaters. Bonehead and Huckabee rods with timmy tom WSD weedless jigs and 4" crappie kickers in pumpkin/chartruese and blue/pearl. Caught 15 green carp and 10 crappie.

I would like to fish it, but have never been there. I've heard it was a good crappie lake, just never really had anyone to guide me around. Is it a pretty clear lake or is there allot of stumps that you would need to watch out for?

it is pretty clear until you get to the mouth of both rivers. follow your chart as it is fairly accurate. the fishing hot right now.
