Fished Blackwell over the extended weekend. Was nice to get back out on the water and catch a few since it had been a while. Started out around 6am and hit a small pile in 17' that the finder showed was loaded with fish. First cast produced a nice 14.5" crappie, stayed on the pile for prob another 30 min catching fish but a lot of small ones and only 4 more keepers. I left and hit some standing timber in Turkey Hollow and caught some 8-10" fish. Kept getting hung up in two different spots so I cruised over the spots and dang trotlines were strung across the bottom (pic attached of one of them). It sure ticks me off when people who set lines cant follow the simple state regs. Headed west on the lake, since I had not been over that way for a long long time. Found a cluster of trees that was under the water in approx 20' and fished it with fair results. I spent a lot of time marking spots on that side of the lake instead of fishing. I ended up having 17 keepers and getting off the water fairly early since the boat traffic began getting very heavy for the holiday. Name: Fish.jpg

I am running the HDS8 with the LSS1. Its pretty neat how clear it can make things, like the drops on that line.

ledge, I did order one from west marine the day after the classic. they were on backorder for a long time, but i have it and need to install it. I was sad to see how much longer it is then the original lss1, hope that produces better pictures.

but your LSS1 was not working at all was it? when you hooked it to mine? I can not say LSS2 gives any better pic, but it does offer the 10" inconvenience. and everyone says, thank you Lowrance .

Is this the same unit you have Ledge? I plan to upgrade when I return and this one looks hard to beat image wise.
