Hello, Y'all. For those of you who saw my post about our great grandson nearly drowning a couple of weeks ago and posted that you were praying for him, Mason did not suffer brain damage, even though he had been unconscious for quite awhile and his oxygen levels were critical. He is now 100% OK, and our family would like to thank you for caring and praying for him. I would thank each of you by handle, but the posts were removed. I CAN thank Crappie ciller, who just pm'ed me about Mason.

Mostly little crappie from Carl Blackwell, plus two white bass and a small drum from there, plus a larger drum from Canton. Coated in cracker crumbs with a large shot of Mrs. Dash and extra garlic powder. Have to get the timing a little better on frying these little guys, but the ones I did not over cook were great.

Waffle fries as a side.

Now you've done it, Scott. I am going to be in trouble with my wife. My mouth is watering, and I'm going to have to find something to eat in the kitchen, an hour and a half before her supper is on the table.

I would like to know how you made those waffle fries or did they come pre cut and frozen cause they sure look good. Heck, even the drum look good- you must have cut the mud streak out of em.

Not at all RB. They fillet and taste just like sand bass. Not as tasty as crappie but good for trash fish.

so 8 inches in the last two weeks at the Carl Blackwell mesonet sight, most of which came in "gullywashers" Any rise in the levels at the lake?

I know that after the 5 inch rain it raised approx 15 inches. I am sure the rain over the ladt 3 days has brought it up 5 or 6 inches
