Went to the creek for a couple of hours today. I'm not sure about the north end, but the middle (south of 73 bridge) is completely open. Water temp was 42.
Motored around a bit and finally found some fish in 40 to 60 FOW. I caught a few 5-10 ft off the bottom but only 1 was over 9". I might try again tomorrow.

Which ramp did you launch from? Any problems with ice at the ramps?
I'm going to try and go out Sunday or Monday depending upon rain.

I went out yesterday afternoon. Water temp was right at 40.5. No ice anywhere. Marked lots of fish just off of North Pool ramp. Couldn't get anything to bite.
Moved around to several locations with same luck. Ended up near 73 bridge and started to catch a few close to sundown. Most were small, but ended up with half a dozen keepers. They were deep in 40-50 FOW.
