Went out Tuesday ( 10/10) and had motor issue (fuel pump?) but did notice the water temp was still in the mid to upper 60's. Hope to be out in the next day or two before the fields dry out enough to start running again.
Tagged along with my neighbor Wednesday (10/5) morning to C J before heading to the fields to run beans. We got on the water at 7:30 and off at about 10:30 with a water temp running between 68-69 deg. and the clarity of the lake was better than I had seen it in a while. I had 5 crappie(2 keepers)in the boat and he had five(4 keepers) as well. I had three Kietech that had the back half bitten off so the EYE were on the prowl as well. With the rain I hope to be out a little the first of the week on C J as farming will be on hold.

Out this morning from 7:30 till about noon with a water temp of 67.4 t- 68 deg and a light wind to start and picking up to a small chop when we left. I had three crappie (two keepers) and a Perch !!!! I's the fish perch that I've caught in a long time. Thanks to Crappiedreamer for the you tube link for my motor, it was a big help!

Has anyone heard from Sir Intimidator recently ?
Haven't seen a pot for a while and not in person a lot longer than that. We need to have a breakfast meeting soon as it rains as running grain is getting to me. Lowell, I'm heading to cj this morning before farming to run my motor and wet a line if your free maybe we can catch a few.

Out yesterday morning for a few hours and was surprised that the water was still 63 to 64 degrees. Fished very little as I was solo and used this time to test boat again as well as scout out a few areas for later when the water cools down. Their were quiet a few out on CJ fishing and hope some will post how they did, if not it will improve as the fish get ready to put it on for the winter.

Downtime, my humble apologies for not responding earlier, work has been 'challenging' to say the very least and unfortunately had to put our beloved dog Harley down this weekend. Would like to get with you out on CJ sometime soon... Miss all of the "Friends" who banded together to accomplish so much ! And hope to hear from Fritz ( cjpolecat) Wish you all well...
