No two-tones for the gators?
Getting some Crappie and Gator bait dyed up.
All the Natural color swimmers got a coat of clear UV blast that really sets off the color and flake....this will be the first year trialing it...this my be the early season deep water flash the natural colors need.

Yeah, I experienced the bleeding of colors too. Maybe just dip the tip on a couple just before fishing?

CJ is 37 and 38 degrees right now....stay home, get your gear ready, and wait til next weekend if the weather holds!

Hey everyone - just came across this site and forum. Some very helpful information and hopefully I can start contributing. Was thinking about taking my son to CJ after lunch for the afternoon and try vertical jigging for some eyes. This will be our first trip to the lake and was planning to focus on the North end trying to find some rocky bottoms. Any tips would be welcome. I'll post any results from the trip.
Got stuck at the office longer than I wanted. Hopefully we can get out tomorrow.
