    Default The Boar's Head Crappie tournaments


    The Boar's Head 2014 Crappie tournaments...

    1 or 2 man team... 7 fish limit...
    all fish must be alive & 9" or more...
    fishing time 7am - 3pm
    $75. per team + $10 big fish...
    team must fish 8 tournaments to make classic...


    March...............30th
    April..................6th
    April.................13th
    May...................4th
    June..................1st
    June................29th
    July.................27th
    August.............17th
    August.............31st
    September.......14th
    September.......21st
    October.............5th

    Two day Classic
    October...25th & 26th

    What's the typical turnout for these events? I've never fished in a tournament and I'm thinking of trying one this year. And is the start and weigh-in at Boar's Head?

    the turn out is hard to say... the time of the year the weather the lake level.
    a lot of things can change the turn out... i have seen 38 teams & 4 teams...
    most of the time 15 - 20...
