We catch mostly black crappie, but I've seen some nice white crappie come out of it.

The bite was great. Very little open water, but when you find it, the crappie are there. I don't typically keep fish out of here but the cold and clear water looked good.
The black crappie dominate the lake now. I did have 1 small white crappie throw back.
Small jig about 4' deep was the answer.

Remember to put me in your will to get your boat if you die from eating them:-). Looks like a nice bunch of crappies.

Excellent bucket....Our channel hasn't been open for a few weeks but hoping Wednesday might provide some open water!

Blacks are definitely more abundant that the white crappie up there. In fact we've only caught a hand full of the white ones and they two have been dinks. Watch out for the perch. With the stockings the past few years, they should be game at this water temp!

Tight lines and maybe we'll see you out there!
