    would like to go to paint creek sat and fish off the bank by the camp ground's.do you guy's know if the lake is open by the camp ground's.thank for any info.

    I fished the campground Sat. 02/23 and the only ice I seen was some small floaters , lake was open. We caught 25-30 only had 12 nice keepers.

    thank glasseye you are on top of the bank fishing and love to read your post.you helped me catch a few on the jigs you give me last feb.when i was in a boat in the creek at 207 bridge.

    Ok Jim, cool. Come to think of it all the crappie we caught Sat. was on same jig-1/32 oz.. Just fishing it deeper around 7-8'.
