    Default I hate my trailer.

Every year i put my boat away in the garage. It has been sitting for two months. Of course when I get my first chance to fish. No lights. Same thing last year. Goes in working comes out not. I think I need to be more like others on this site and just not put away for the winter.

Do you have LEDs or regular bulbs? Last year I spent $40 at Tractor Supply and put LEDs on the boat. Never had a problem since.

Even with regular bulbs if you use a little dialectric grease on the bases it will do wonders. It keeps the corrosion from messing up your connections.
I bought a new trailer last year, I thought it was going to have LED's but it had regular bulbs. Of course I blew the first set of bulbs right away because I didn't unplug the lights. I added the grease and haven't had a problem since.
First chance I get though, I replacing with LED's.

Yea I think the LED's is the way tog go but even with them you can still have grounding problems which is the most common problem with these stupid lights. I'll have to try the "grease on the bases." Are you talking grease up the connections? Right now I just have my fishing partner stand in the back of the boat and wave flashlights around but I have trouble finding fishing partners for some reason.Rofl

Yes, just add a little grease at the connection. Once you clean the area of your ground add a little grease to the area and terminal before making the connection. It seemed to help mine.
