I see more in my yard than I do when I go hunting. One thing about it.....those yard deer eat pretty good and you don't have to haul or drag them back to the truck.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Some of the biggest bucks I see every year are in my yard. I'm pretty much in the middle of the city. I wish I could whack 'em.
I'll spend the whole weekend out in the woods with no sleep and no food and I'll see this same little spike that walks under my stand eveyday. There has to be a good un out there somewhere.

LOL, in the front of your picture, it appears to be an arrow stuck in the ground. With my forensic background (from watching tv) it aligns up perfect with your neighbors upstairs window. You better crossbow that sausage roll, before your neighbor gets another shot.................

Very good observation Herb. It is in fact an arrow shaft but it is mine. You guys just don't miss anything.
Behind him is a compost bin and just off to the right hand corner is my bow target. It's tempting.
He was with a yearling doe. I think the young (of the year) ladies must come into heat in mid Dec or early Jan because most of these bucks show up with their new found young girl friends at this time of year.

Sounds like the perfect life if you didn't get shot at certain times of the year.
