Over the years I've seen a few real bruisers scouting bean fields before the season started. By the time opening day of bow season comes around a headless carcass shows up rotting in the fields. It really is a shame.
When we struggle even seeing some of the better bucks, it makes you wonder. I bow hunt for the challenge, not neccesarily for the rack but the antlers sure are handy to hold on to.
