Had to break out Garfield yesterday

Good day; close to a limit of nice crappie--coulda had a limit, but wasn't sure how many I had. No one had time to go yesterday, or were fishing tournaments, so had to go solo. Glad I went. No wind, cool, not many pleasure boats, even fewer jet ski's. I love this time of year!

Surface temp was 65 in the morning, warming to 72 by late afternoon.

Nice mixed bag of pre-fall crappie. It's good not having lake lice buzzing us every few minutes this time of year.
