    Default Erie?

has anybody heard anything about Erie. I was planning on going up there with my son over easter, but do not know if that will be to early. Are the fish in the channels, during this time? Does anybody know of a contact to get info?

The crappie are in the marinas and channels during fall, winter and spring. I have caught occanional ones during mid-summer but never in any numbers. There will be fish there over Easter, BUT last weekend a friend went up and scouted around from Sandusky to Port Clinton and the water was very stirred up from all the recent rain/wind and could not find any relatively clear water.

Fish the permanent docks that have supports under the water!!! The floating docks do not hold anywhere near the number of fish.
