    Mine are a fairly loose batter. You can't form balls out of them. I just use a heaping teaspoon on each

    Never done the cheese but I do like lots of jalepeno's and white onion and scallions in mine. I actually pour the juice from the jar of jalepeno's in the mix and also use beer. I just use a spoon and dip in the hot oil and them spoon up a bit and slide it off in the grease. come out nice and light that way.

    I've got my recipe down, just wondering how much cheese you use. I dice up jalapeņo's in mine as well for a great flavor.

    I add the juice to but add a touch of sugar to counteract the tartness of it
