    Default Ham Radios

Are there any here that are into ham radios, or cb base stations. I was thinking about getting my ticket...

That's cool guys, I don't have a radio yet, and don't know what kind to buy. I'm on a cornbread budget so I guess that will narrow it down. I was thinking about 2mm but the repeater here has been shut down a few years, and the others are + 20 away, anyway I live in Ozark hills and I don't think without the repeater for 2mm I couldn't get out very far....
