Welp if y'all want to catch goggle eyes

I got the place for ya. Lol. Caught 50-60 and nothing else from last night and early this morning. Crickets, worms, fly rod n Beatle spins for bait. They did put catfish in it but didn't get a bite on worms from them. Recon it's catch Every goggle eye I can out of it and stock it with bass n bream. 1 1-4 AC size, 8 or so foot deep at the dam, most of the pond is 3-5 foot deep but has a 1/8 AC or so in 1-1 1/2 foot deep. Pretty clear

If it's full of them it's probably all you have. When I bought this place that's all I could catch. Drained it to clean out and deepen. That was the only fish in it. They will eat all the other eggs and fry of any fish that might have spawned in there. If your not going to drain best use rotenone and kill everything then restock.

Thanks for the advice. Few were actually hand sized. Guy said he stocked catfish in it but I didn't catch one

How much did that set you back cleaning it out n making it deeper?

Around 4500. But now they didn't just dig it out the moved a bunch of dirt into a low spot and leveled that then dug me a creek Chanel from deepest part to inflow and removed about 5 trees from the bank. Got a heck of a deal.

I don't know how they do it but they will just ruin a pond.
