    Some called it P-38. Carried one on my dog tag chain.. C-rations came with one in the box.

    Well everybody already nailed it. We called the P38s. Opened a few C-Rations with one. One time I was opening a C-Ration can of some kind of meat and it had stamped on it "Packed at Marnat Packing Company, Bennetsville SC"
    That was my home town and the Marnat Packing Company's main product was Big Time Dog Food. I traded my can for a can of peaches.
