    Default Those who carry revlovers

Which ones do you carry? I'm a Ruger person, just something about them that draws me. I have a 4" GP100, too heavy, and a SR9c that I really bought to carry but really like the idea that if the gun doesn't fire on that pull just pull the trigger again which you can't do with a semi-auto. I know, I know more ammo in a semi-auto and my SR has never jammed at all but. Plus revolvers just look better to me. Looking at a LCR 357, a SP101 short barrel in 38 or 357 or one of the old Ruger 6 series if I can ever find one. What do you think revolver folk? My step-daughter just bought herself a pink hammer-less S&W 642 38 to carry. She hasn't shot it yet.

My most often carried CCW is a Smith & Wesson model 337, which is a 5 shot aluminum/titanium/stainless 38 snubby. It weight 11 ounces empty and disappears in a pocket. The closest current production model to it would be the 637, it's like the 642 but without the shrouded hammer. I carry my 337 in a Mika pocket holster.
About the closest comparable Ruger would be the LCR, and it's much larger and bulkier. I also have a Ruger SP-101 but it's a lot heavier and requires a holster to carry it comfortably.

Have both revolver Taurus 357 mag and Browning semi-auto!! Both are good and will do the job!!But am a Rifle/shotgun.. Just my two cents (not worth much) but a handgun has a short barrel and is hard to keep in front of you on the target espically the semi-auto.The revolver gives me a little more time to aim(find the target) and hit what I am aiming at!! The revolver is safer around Kid's also keep one empty chamber vs the semi-auto your trusting a safety to keep from accidentaly going off(firing)!!! Again just my two cents worth!!! Thanks for keeping us free!!!!

I have several revolvers around the house just in case but I don't CC any of them. My everyday carry is the G23, lightweight, reliable and powerful. If I have to wear a shirt and tie, I carry a Kel-tec PF9.
