That sounds like right around the address of the place he used to manage. I'm betting its his now and is likely a pretty similar menu (mostly seafood). I ate there twice while I lived in Memphis and I can testify that Rip knows how to run a restaraunt! That was some of the best grub I've ever eaten! I know I'll plan to stop in when I pass through in a few months.
Congrats on the new place, Rip!
He brought jambalya to the first Mississippi Crappie Camp made at that restaraunt. Man that stuff would make your tongue knock your front teeth out trying to get to it.

No kidding. Guess Rip decided he didn't really like to fish anyway and just went ahead and fixed it so he wouldn't even have a chance to not go fishing by opening up his own joint.
Say.....recon I could bum a free lunch from him?

By the way, for those of you that don't know Gewbwes is actually a word of french origin. It seems that back in the day, Billbob had a thang for creole ladies. Well as it turns out, he jilted the wrong fanm and she put a Cajun swamp spelling curse on him. That's why he can't spell today.......She put a Non-Spell on him. Bwahahahaha.
By the way, the correct creole spelling of Gewber is not Gewbwes, it's Gewbraux.

I just saw this. Man if that really is the old Blue Fin, I'd love to be around when some of you redneck (meant as a compliment) gewbers drop in to check it out.
It's in a part of Memphis that is very accepting of "alternative lifestyles".
